This project summary offers a glimpse of the Legislative Theatre process, a branch of Theatre of the Oppressed. In September 2017 Mandala Center for Change organized two public performances which took place in Port Townsend, WA centering on transgender youth rights in schools, medical facilities, and navigating interpersonal relationships. Local and state legislators attended the events to witness the process and affect change.
